Park Central

I stayed at the hotel for five days and felt at home. The hospitality was warm and consistent across every department, and even the security staff were always courteous and helpful. The food was wonderful, and my whole team was very happy with the arrangements for our bank’s quarterly training program. Among the few venues we shortlisted, choosing Park Central Hotel, Kaloor was the right call. From the first phone call, the team was professional, positive, and supportive. They organized the meeting smoothly, coordinated everything well, and helped promptly throughout. Special thanks to Mr. Sreekumar, Manager, for supporting us from the initial discussion through after my check-out. His commitment and focus on customers made a real difference. The washroom needs some improvement, so I took off half a point. Still, I’d give the fish curry thali at Park Central on Kaloor–Kadavanthra Road near Kaloor bus stand a 9.5/10. The ambience was pleasant and the staff courteous. I’d never had Karimeen (pearl spot) curry as part of a full fish curry thali before. The fish was fresh, cleaned properly with no black stain inside, and cooked just right. The curry was hard to describe. The meal felt like a full Kerala spread, with ullitheeyal, thoran, upperi, erissery, avial and several other dishes, plus pappadam, pickle, kondattam and payasam to finish. The breakfast selection was small, though the food itself was good, and the toiletries provided were nice. The front office staff didn’t give any information, and service was poor. The hotel is in a main area, but the rooms look old and are just okay. The inside bar smelled bad. A mixed experience.

The rate was affordable and the service very professional. Our academy will remember today and the facilities at Hotel Park, including the conference hall and F&B section. The real highlight was the hospitality.
