The Galaxy Suites

The staff were friendly, and the service was good overall. The rooms are small, but clean and well maintained, and Ernakulam North railway station is an easy walk away. If you’re arriving in your own vehicle, consider another hotel because there’s no dedicated parking. You’ll have to leave the car on the roadside.

Galaxy Suites is affordable and set away from the busy town, so it made for a peaceful stay. Our room was tidy, with a well-kept bathroom and a cozy bed that helped us sleep well. The front office and room service teams were efficient and well mannered, and the owner communicated very well. My only concern was the lack of car parking, which could be a problem for some guests. There’s no restaurant either. Still, I recommend Galaxy Suites for its comfortable rooms, amenities, value, and good service.

Being close to the railway station is handy, but there’s no parking. Cars can’t reach it because there’s only a walkway and no access road. The room is small and the bathroom tiny, so it might suit men on a tight budget. The bigger problem is the poor upkeep: paint is peeling, bathroom fittings are broken, and the false ceiling is coming down. I wouldn’t recommend it for families.

It was easy to feel comfortable here because the room, toilet, reception and stairs were all clean and fresh. There’s also a small balcony. The room itself is very small, though that didn’t bother me given how clean it was. We arrived on a Sunday when no receptionist was there, but a North Indian man who was cleaning the place helped us get settled. The hotel is down a very narrow road, which makes it hard to find, and cars can’t get in.
