Waking up to the tea gardens and valley was the highlight of my stay at T & U Leisure Hotel. The room was spacious, well kept, and had the amenities I needed. I also liked the food at the “Athens” restaurant, and the staff paid attention to our dietary preferences. The hotel sits on Mattupetty Road, close enough to Munnar town for convenience while still feeling peaceful. The front desk handled check-in and check-out efficiently and professionally. I had a wonderful stay and would recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable, scenic break in Munnar.

We ate here two days in a row. The food and service were very good, and it wasn’t expensive. You can get beer and alcohol, and there’s a lovely view from this beautiful restaurant. The staff are very friendly, and you can sit outside on the rooftop. You can get cow and pig.

The Chicken Thengakothu Roast was especially tasty, and the ambience was lovely when we had dinner here on New Year’s Eve. Our food was delayed quite a bit in the holiday crowd, but that was understandable. The service staff were smart and proactive, and the huge Christmas tree by the entrance looked grand and superb. A great place for a special occasion.

The room was only above average, and its AC didn’t work. I complained at 11pm, but the staff member only set it to 19°. All three of us were sweating all night and couldn’t sleep comfortably. I’d booked based on the photos and reviews, since everything looked fine and the price was good.

The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the staff were very polite. For what we paid, the service and facilities were better than I expected. It’s a really nice hotel.
