Vivanta Ernakulam, Marine Drive

The room upgrade and welcome gifts of perfume really touched me. Staff were very hospitable, and the room had excellent views. The hotel is right in the heart of Marine Drive, and the Water Metro they recommended is within walking distance. Breakfast was excellent too. I loved my stay and will come back if I visit the city again.

The people made this four-night stay stand out. Housekeeping, wait staff, reception, bellboys, and even security outside were warm, attentive, and professional at every turn. Reshmi Menon, the Operations Director, and Nithin Unnikrishnan from management were especially involved and professional. From check-in through checkout, things ran smoothly, and we felt looked after rather than simply hosted. We had our six-month-old with us, so comfort and quick, thoughtful help mattered a lot. The team anticipated our needs and made the stay stress-free. The rooms were spacious, spotless, and very comfortable. Breakfast was a highlight each morning, with plenty of variety, quality ingredients, and thoughtful service. Food at other meals and through room service was consistently top-notch too. I travel a lot for business and stay at hotels across international chains, but this Vivanta stands out. I’ll return without hesitation whenever I’m in Kochi and confidently recommend it to friends and family. An outstanding stay, made memorable by the team.

Lekshmi and the team decorated the room and surprised us with a cake for our 3rd Anniversary. The room was great, as was the view. Marine Drive right outside makes for a good sunset view and a pleasant walk. And a shoutout to the Chef for the amazing eggless Strawberry and Caramel Bomolinis at the breakfast buffet! We had amazing hospitality.

Swirl on the 1st floor is a lovely spot to unwind and relax in peace, with the charming hospitality of Mr George Samuel, Saju Bhaskar, and the whole team making you feel at home. Bubble cafe on the ground floor has a wide variety of food from different cuisines. For its location, affordability, and stellar service across departments, I consider this one of the best properties in town. I recommend it to anyone visiting kochi, including those who’ve been hesitant to stay here.
