Hotel Turmeric

The spacious, comfortable room and lovely interiors made this overnight stop a good find. There was plenty to choose from at breakfast, including Indian and continental options, and parking was good. The infinity pool was clean, and the gym had nice equipment. A stay that felt worth the price.

We were travelling from bangalore to palakkad and stayed here overnight. The hotel and restaurant had a nice atmosphere, and breakfast was a good spread. Our room was clean and well kept, and all the staff were polite and helpful. We didn't have time to try the pool or gym. Good value for a stay.

The main issue was how much noise came through the room walls. We could hear the TV, toilet flushing and water, and even people talking in the next room, which was disturbing at times. Management should look into the poor sound insulation. Aside from that, the location was ideal, staff were responsive, and the dining and food were great. The complimentary breakfast had lots of variety too. It was a pleasant stay, and I'd recommend it to families or couples. I'd give it 4 1/2 stars.

The bathroom floor was slippery and could be maintained better. In the restaurant, cutlery should be ready and the staff need more training in professional service. My son wanted kesari, which wasn't on the menu. He was crying, but the chef refused to make it, even though it seemed like a simple dish that could have been prepared in 5 to 10 minutes. Service needs to improve.
