The reception area’s traditional look and woodwork are nice, but the rooms could be more appealing. They seem to follow the same traditional style, though the walls need a good paint job and the furniture could use varnish. The TV wires should be arranged properly so they don’t look awkward to guests.
The room was filthy. There was blood and dirt on the bed, and condoms behind the bed cover. Staying all day felt like it could make you sick. The area outside the room was noisy, with people using unwanted bad language. This isn’t a lodge. Worst hotel in the Erode area.
I booked through Oyo and was given a small room with one bed. They didn’t provide drinking water, toiletries, or hot water. When I asked for tea, the staff said they didn’t supply it and told me to go out instead. I was completely unsatisfied with this hotel.
I spent one night there, and it was my worst experience. If cleanliness matters to you, don’t stay here. The windows wouldn’t close, so mosquitoes filled the room. The bed looked like it hadn’t been cleaned in a decade, and maintenance was very poor overall.
I stayed four nights and not once was the room or restroom cleaned, or the bedsheets and pillow covers changed. There was no room service, cleaning, or drinking water. Mosquitoes were everywhere, but management didn’t provide repellent or do anything to prevent them. They told me to handle it myself. The bedspreads weren’t changed regularly either. The worst management I’ve ever encountered.
