Courtyard Aravali Resort

The indoor kids' play area was dirty and poorly kept, with floor mats visibly blackened. Our premium room with a private sit-out had no bathtub, and the bathroom had no exhaust, so it became unpleasant after a few hours. Monkeys roaming around made the sit-out practically unusable. The loud DJ from a corporate event kept going until 12:15 AM. I had to call reception at least five times before anyone dealt with the volume. I don't object to corporate events, but families with children should be told in advance if one is planned, or those bookings should be avoided at certain times so families aren't left to suffer. The staff first offered us a room upgrade to make up for the disruption, but does that justify the rest of the experience? Not every guest can just forget what happened for an upgrade or a few complimentary gestures. Guest experience and family comfort are non-negotiable for a property claiming to be 5-star. Midnight menu service was extremely slow, and the food was average at best, 5/10. I was told, “Sorry sir, there are multiple orders, please manage.” Around 10 PM, a family group of about 20 arrived and staff forgot my order. I waited 20 minutes before it was served with a brief apology. This property rates itself as a 5-star establishment or luxe property on booking sites. Does management really know the standards, facilities and hospitality expected of a 5-star property?

The first function was meant to have Jain food, as we'd booked it for every function, but it wasn't provided and our guests were inconvenienced. Even simple requests during the wedding functions were handled inefficiently, like the extra plates that took around 15 minutes to arrange. Room service was unsatisfactory, and attempts to reach higher management went unanswered. We hosted our wedding at Marriott Resorts, Aravalli, and found the hospitality disappointing. Coordination and support from management fell short, the team was often uncooperative, and small requests took lengthy discussions. Responses could take a whole day, adding stress to an important event. A wedding happens once in a lifetime, and we expected a smoother, more supportive experience from a property with this reputation. The service standards didn't live up to it.

It's out of the way. If you're coming for a function, bring your own vehicle or arrange a rental cab. You can't get one through Ola, Uber or Rapido, and the resort doesn't provide cab service.

Lipstick marks were on the drinking glasses, the sheets were stained, and the rooms were very untidy. It took 30 minutes for luggage pickup from the room, and they couldn't handle simple requests for safety pins and aids. A very bad stay overall. The property is overpriced and overhyped, not recommended at all.
