Orchid Inn by OYO Rooms

Even for a budget hotel, OYO should keep an eye on problems like these. My experience was awful: the rooms were untidy and hadn't been cleaned, and the mattress and sheets were dirty and smelled bad.

We didn't feel unsafe, so it may be considered safe. There was a constant noise from the gym directly above the hotel. In the room, the AC worked properly, though there was no temperature control, and they gave us drinking water twice, 3 litres total, free of charge. The tap water in the washroom was also fine. The rest of the room and washroom were in very poor condition. There was water pooled on the washroom floor, dirty walls, badly rusted taps, and a loose toilet seat that had turned blackish. No shower was available, and the bucket and mugs were filthy. The bedsheet and bedroom walls had spots and damp patches. Breakfast was included in the rent when I booked through Agoda, but they simply refused when I asked for it.

The bed cushion was good, but there were lots of mosquitoes, and neither the flush nor the television worked.

There was plenty of parking, which is useful if you have a four wheeler, and the location was quite good. The hotel staff were extremely polite and helpful.
