I paid in advance at a premium rate a week before my three-night booking, but after the first night the owner checked me out without telling me or getting my consent. The room was unhygienic, the AC didn’t work, and there was no remote. There was also no water in the morning because of a caretaker’s mistake. The rooms are being used for unmarried couples, and even when you book a dedicated room, one may still be assigned to a couple. I lost my perfume as well. It was deeply unprofessional, and the only resolution from the Oyo call centre was an apology, which was painful. I planned to escalate this to the local Faridabad police at SSP/DC level.

There was plenty of space in the room, but the bathroom lacked basic amenities and the geyser didn’t work. I complained repeatedly and still got no resolution.

I had a booking when I arrived, but was told to wait two hours because no room was available. When I asked how that could be, the man threw my documents and said, “There’s no room. Go file a complaint.” Be careful before going there.

The staff were rude and didn’t know how to speak to customers, and they weren’t cooperative either. This was a terrible experience and a waste of money. A huge no from me, this hotel should be shut down.
