OYO 71227 Welcome Stay

Our booking had been confirmed through OYO a day before we arrived, and I’d already paid the advance. But at Welcome Stay, the staff said the room had gone to someone else and asked us to pay extra for another one. They were rude on the phone, shouted at us, and wouldn’t give us the owner’s contact details. The staff seemed unprofessional and had no sense of customer service. I’m extremely disappointed with OYO’s service and its association with this property. This points to poor coordination between OYO and Welcome Stay. I expect an immediate resolution and strict action over this unethical behavior.

The room felt suffocating, with an oxygen problem, and there were mosquitoes. The bedsheet hadn’t been washed, there was no water, no bucket, no housekeeping, and no sanitization. The doors didn’t have locks, either. Staff service was very poor. The receptionist used my phone to open my OYO app and give themselves a rating. This was my worst experience with OYO.

The room was disgusting and infested with roaches. The staff were unprofessional and uncooperative, and didn’t know how to speak to guests. They didn’t give guests keys, and they take valuable items if they’re left in the room. The lady there was especially rude and had a terrible attitude. They cheat guests and do wrong by them. Worst experience, and a waste of money. Never book this hotel. False and awful. Because of places like this, OYO’s name gets dragged through the dirt.

Helpful staff and a clean, tidy place. Nice for a family stay.
