The food was good and room service prompt. My main suggestion, which I’ve already shared with the staff, is to train and properly supervise the outside workers during functions. Still, we had a good experience. Ms Hema Chauhan was courteous and polite, Arun bhai of Manver Restaurant was courteous too, and Ms Devangi was exceptionally helpful. Mr Hiren also cooperated well. Pathika Ashram feels quiet and restful, with greenery around the property and a location near the Sabarmati River. It’s a budget-friendly government guest house managed by Gujarat Tourism, with a calm setting that suits travelers, tourists, or people visiting for official work. The rooms are basic but spacious and clean, and the modest facilities were adequate and well maintained for a comfortable short stay or family trip. The atmosphere is quiet and disciplined. Staff were polite, cooperative, and helpful. Check-in and check-out were smooth, help was available when needed, and the parking area was convenient. The premises felt safe and organized. The location also makes it easy to reach government offices, Akshardham Temple, Sarita Udyan, and other places in Gandhinagar. There’s an on-site dining facility serving simple, hygienic meals. It’s a reliable, economical choice if you want a peaceful, clean, affordable stay rather than luxury. The place offers simplicity and comfort, with Gujarat’s warm hospitality.

Dalpat made our dinner especially enjoyable. He was prompt, warm, courteous, and attentive throughout, and went out of his way to make sure we were looked after. The hospitality was superb, with a high standard of service that’s increasingly rare. We had a wonderful dinner and would happily come back for another memorable evening.

This is a useful transit point for trips to Ahmedabad and rural Gujarat, with a key place in Gandhinagar’s transport network. Compared with many regional stands, the layout is fairly organized, and the platforms for different destinations are clearly marked. There are seating areas, basic eateries, and drinking water. Digital inquiry screens and frequent bus updates help, although it gets quite crowded at peak times. The older architecture shows how long the station has been in service, while the busy atmosphere reflects its importance. Cleanliness could be more consistent, and the public restrooms need modernization. It serves its purpose as a reliable hub, but a focused maintenance overhaul would improve the passenger experience.
