A pleasant stay, and the rooms were maintained reasonably well. The ground-floor restaurant makes very good butter chicken. It’s about a five-minute walk to the beach, and behind the hotel there are more restaurants and an ice-cream parlor, so there are several food choices nearby.

Amrut Aura is a gem in Karwar. The rooms are spacious and nicely decorated, and the dining was superb. Staff went out of their way to make the stay comfortable. With modern amenities, a convenient location, and good value, it works well for business or leisure. Highly recommended.

The reception staff were cooperative, and the guest washroom was very well maintained. It’s good for families, with Karwar beach and the bus station both within walking distance. It’s next to the well-known seafood place Amrut hotel, and the in-house restaurant is good too. I didn’t get complimentary breakfast, though. Be sure to ask for a room with a view.

The restaurant food was delicious, and service there was impressively quick. Room service was fast and efficient every time as well. Our room was spotless and well looked after, and the friendly staff always had a smile. It was a comfortable, very pleasant stay. Highly recommended.
