Skylon Hotel

A peaceful, welcoming atmosphere made this a nice place for either a short visit or a longer stay. The rooms were cozy and well maintained, with what we needed to relax. Staff were attentive, polite, and happy to help. Comfort, cleanliness, and service were all very good. I’d gladly visit again and recommend it.

**Good points:** The staff were courteous, the rooms were just okay, the location was good, and the price was budget friendly. **Problems:** The stairs up to the hotel smelled strongly because of pigeons, so avoid it if you have allergies. We had to park on the road, and our car got covered in dust. The hotel shouldn't advertise having parking. They didn't provide even one complimentary bottle of water. We asked to check out an hour late after staying three days, but they refused, even though the property wasn't fully booked that day. I don't understand the 4.6 rating. I paid in full before booking, my mistake. I don't recommend this place at all. Find somewhere else.

The staff are very supportive and it’s a nice place. Everything was excellent, but the internet didn’t work on Sunday night because of a line fault, and that was a problem for my NDA exam. Please keep the internet working through Sunday day and night. Also, please start a thali system for food, so it’s easier to access.
