Treebo Blue Moon

Breakfast was included in what I paid, but there’s no in-house kitchen. A street vendor brings it after 9:00 AM, which is inconvenient if you have morning plans or need to leave early. The breakfast arrangements don’t suit anyone looking for timely meals or proper facilities. My room was dusty, and the dirty corridor smelled bad. The TV couldn’t be used because there was no set-top box. The bathroom had no towels, and the room had no tea, coffee, or sugar pouches. For the same price, there are better options for cleanliness, comfort, and service. I wouldn’t recommend staying here because of the poor service and lack of basic hospitality. The *Treebo* platform also disappointed me.

I had a 9:30 AM conference and planned to leave by 9:00, but the breakfast didn’t arrive until after that. I first tried calling reception at 8:27 AM, repeatedly, without getting an answer. At 8:53, I contacted MakeMyTrip support. Just after that call ended, a staff member brought one plate of poha at 9:03. It wasn’t enough for a normal breakfast, and it had been bought from a street vendor. The hotel says breakfast is served from 7:30 to 10:30 AM, but my experience didn’t match that. This showed little attention to guests’ schedules and poor service. I hope Makemytrip /treebo holds its hotel partners more accountable.

*** FRAUD *** I had some issues with cleanliness, though there were good parts too. I would have rated the hotel around 6 or 7 out of 10. What happened afterwards was much worse. They asked to photograph my booking.com confirmation in the app, and I didn’t realize the picture also showed the pin. They then used that information to post a 10 star review under my name on booking com. Be careful, because I suspect many of this hotel’s 5 star Google reviews and 10 star booking.com reviews are fake.

The first room had small insects on the bed, so we had to move to another one. In the morning, they gave us poha for breakfast, which I think came from a street vendor, and it wasn’t what the website showed. There was no packaged drinking water or tea and coffee bags. When I asked about the bags, reception said Treebo hadn’t provided them. The rooftop restaurant wasn’t operating either.
