Aashishkhim Guest House

The peaceful setting was a real treat, a good place to unwind away from everyday chaos. We felt more like family guests than people just staying somewhere. Ashishkhim Guest House was clean and comfortable, with well-kept rooms, lovely views, and a calm atmosphere. The staff were attentive and always willing to help. We felt at home from the minute we arrived, and would gladly visit again. Highly recommended if you want a cozy, welcoming stay.

We felt at home at Aashishkhim Guest House in Gangtok, Sikkim, and our kid had a great time. Ms. Nindiya Pradhan and Mr. Aashish Khim were wonderful hosts, welcoming us warmly and making sure we were comfortable. They also shared useful sightseeing tips. The house is in a handy spot for exploring Gangtok, while still being peaceful and tucked away from the bustle. The views of the mountains and greenery were stunning. The rooms were clean and spacious, with a comfortable bed and a bathroom that worked well. The guest house is charming and well maintained, with a cozy feel. There’s a full kitchen with utensils and basic cooking items, and the hosts provide breakfast ingredients. That was helpful with our kids, since we could make food to suit them. When we left, they showed us such gratitude and said goodbye with a beautiful traditional stole. I’ll keep the stole and picture as lifelong memories, and I’d choose their home again on a future visit. The hospitality, comfort, and beauty made our stay wonderful, and I highly recommend this guest house.

The kitchen had all the amenities we needed to cook what we liked, and we enjoyed tea on the front balcony in the mornings and evenings. There were three families, eight of us altogether, and we fit comfortably into four spacious, clean rooms. We even watched IPL together in the drawing room. We stayed for three days in April 2024 and were touched by the warm hospitality and service. It felt like a home away from home. Highly recommended for families.
