Gangtok Central Rooms

We spent four days here with family. The location was handy, but nearly everything else was poorly managed. Housekeeping didn't clean our room a single time, drinking water wasn't brought regularly, and the room phone didn't work, so reaching reception or asking for service was difficult. The hospitality and upkeep were far below what I expected. I hope management improves the service and housekeeping for future guests.

The staff acted like they were doing me a favor whenever I asked for something, and I had to explain why I needed it. I spent my first two hours dealing with room problems. Basic amenities were missing, even soap, the basin leaked, the room was dingy and poorly kept, and the bedding was dirty. A terrible experience that could ruin your mood and vacation. Avoid this hotel.

I couldn't sleep because the hotel was noisy all night, and it definitely wasn't worth the money. The room was dirty and smelled bad, with stained sheets and an unclean bathroom. Staff were rude and unhelpful, and essentials like a telephone, towel, and shower gel were missing. Very disappointing.

The photos may look nice, but the rooms are subpar and there's no service. The people had an unnecessary attitude too. I'd think twice before booking. For location, somewhere on the other side of MG market is a better choice. Stay away if you want to save your holiday.
