For 1000 rs a day, we got a very good deal. The basic room was huge, with a sofa, table, and wardrobe, and it was clean and well looked after. It's close to mg marg and the taxi stands, and the service was good. Replacing the bucket and mug would make it even better.

Waking up to the panoramic view was a treat, and the spacious rooms were exceptionally clean. At Greendale Residence in Gangtok, we also had friendly, attentive service and a tasty breakfast with a good range of choices. The 24-hour hot water was especially useful in the hills. A comfortable getaway, highly recommended.

We had a lovely family stay at Hotel Greendale, and the staff were polite, cooperative, and soft-spoken throughout. Any confusion was entirely due to our travel agency, Etripto, rather than the hotel. I wrote about Etripto separately because we booked a package through them. I recommend Greendale, but book directly through Goibibo, another site, or the hotel, and don't go through the Etripto agency.

The mountain view was stunning, the food and service were good, and the price was reasonable. Mg marg is about a five-minute walk away. The hotel staff were polite and friendly. Definitely recommended.

For 1,200 rupees, I thought the room was a great deal. It was spacious and well maintained, with a comfortable bed and a beautiful view from the window. The staff were cooperative and supportive, and the mall road was an easy 8-10 minute walk away. I'd give the stay 4.5 out of 5. The only small drawbacks were a toilet flush that didn't work and some cleanliness issues in the bathroom. They were minor and didn't take much away from an otherwise positive stay.
