Hotel Fujiya

We had a very bad experience, especially traveling with family, and I wouldn’t book here if you’re looking for a peaceful, relaxing stay. The caretakers spoke sweetly but, in our experience, provided nothing and demanded more money. My phone and laptop were stolen from the room, and they said they weren’t responsible. You can get hotels on MG Road at the same rate, at @ tashi delek, with breakfast included.

The room had no proper sanitation in the bathroom, and the lighting was just one 6 watt LED. At check-in, the owners agreed to a lower fare, but at checkout the woman at reception said that price wasn’t possible and that she only gives rooms at a certain rate. The hotel also lacked basic facilities like a proper bathroom and lights. Avoid this place and this family. It’s sad to see people like this tarnish such a beautiful state, and I think the couple should be put in jail.

It was a frightening experience. We had to pay Rs 2300 because our reserved cab to Kupup was waiting outside, and the owner’s behavior toward us was extremely bad. They had first asked for Rs 1500, then demanded Rs 2300 at checkout and made a scene. They also billed us for 3 nights instead of 2. They say one thing and then expect you to pay something else. A request to tourists: don’t stay here. They’re looting tourists.

A nice aunty, and it’s close to mg road. Good place to get some rest.
