I left my ₹3,000 hoodie on the bed when checking out. After the room had been cleaned, it was gone. I asked the staff for help and requested to see the CCTV footage, but they refused to show it and didn't help me. The service was disappointing from the start of our December visit to Gangtok, Sikkim. Breakfast was really bad, and the staff replied rudely whenever we asked for anything. It was extremely cold, but the geysers didn't work. We complained several times and nobody fixed them, which made the stay uncomfortable and frustrating. I regret staying here. The staff and management were careless and unhelpful. Save your money and choose a better hotel.

It's okay for a stay, but service was very average. There was no handwash or slippers in the bathroom, and room service was poor. The menu listed lots of dishes, but when we ordered, only tea and dalfry were available. The food was average too. My personal view is that this isn't recommended for families, even for a one-time stay. Restaurant and Breakfast: 1 star.

The proprietor's hospitality, lovely views from the rooms, and warm atmosphere made this a 5-star experience for me. Hotel Kaso has great facilities and is comfortable, welcoming, and well managed. I highly recommend it to anyone visiting Gangtok.
