The restaurant upstairs is handy, and the rooms and bathrooms were clean and tidy. You can get what you need, including hot water for bathing, though there were a few hiccups, like waiting too long for hot water. Don't expect the same food you'd get back home, so be ready to adjust to the region. Room service and the rest of the staff were good. I stayed from December 15 to December 18, and the hospitality was commendable from the start. Everyone was kind, respectful, and welcoming. The man at reception was awesome, and I really respect how he kept Sikkim's culture in his behavior and manner. I don't usually write reviews, but this stay was easily a 9/10 for me, one of the best places to stay in Gangtok. I'll definitely come again in the coming years. Thank you.

You might get a mountain view from some rooms. Hotel Decheen was comfortable, with clean, well-kept rooms in a handy spot near MG Road and opposite Westpoint Mall. Thanks especially to Rana Singh for the helpful support. The restaurant food could definitely be better.

Right opposite West Point Mall and just steps from MG Marg, the location is central. Rooms are small but good. The bathrooms need refurbishing, and room service could be better.

Roshni made us feel at home by taking care of all the little details, and that's what made this stay memorable. She helped with check-in, made sure the room was right, and offered thoughtful recommendations. She was warm, attentive, and professional every time, and made us feel valued and cared for. The hotel itself is beautiful and has all the amenities you'd expect from a top-class property, but Roshni is what took the experience further. Good rooms and facilities are one thing, but people like her turn a good stay into an exceptional one. If you stay here, make sure you meet Roshni. She's the reason we'll definitely return.

The basin was leaking, and nobody at reception answered the phone. There was no hot water at all, which is essential in this area. We wasted 40 minutes waiting and still got absolutely no warm water. This could be the worst stay.
