The corridor outside our fifth-floor room was my favourite part, with a wonderful view. I liked the hotel's interiors, and the dining room was nice too. The room had the basic amenities, and staying at Hotel Omkar turned into a good experience once we got there, though reaching the hotel was a problem at first. If you're staying there, don't miss Food Fusion, a bar and restaurant with good food, drinks, and a screen that's great for watching cricket or football.

We booked eight rooms, and the geysers weren't working in four of them. Mine worked, and my room was fine. The rooms were clean and the staff polite, but the hotel food was average. That's why I'd give it three stars.

It's a decent hotel and is kept in good condition, though it's a little far from MG marg and the main market. The building has four or five floors, and without a lift the stairs can be difficult.

While we were out visiting Sikkim, the owner asked us to move rooms because other guests were arriving, even though we'd booked ours through the next few days. The food quality was low too, and the staff were very arrogant.

The rooms had a strong smell and the service was bad. We ended up checking out in the middle of the night because there was no electricity, and the staff did nothing to help us.
