We were told the market was close enough to walk to, but getting even halfway there took a hike. The location was awful, and the rooms were in very poor shape. Staff were rude as well. When we asked about the TV, they said there was no connection, though our family's other booked room had one. Book here if you want to waste your money and enjoyment.

The Kolkata agent gave us wrong information. At the hotel, the rooms were very dirty, the bathroom wasn't good, and the staff acted unprofessionally. They wouldn't provide what we needed, and the manager was very reluctant to deal with any problems. It wasn't suitable to stay in, just a waste of money. This place doesn't deserve even one star.

Even the most luxurious rooms were dirty. The floors were broken and made a creepy sound when we walked, and the bathrooms and their equipment were dirty and damaged. The geyser didn't work either. When we asked for a good quality room, the staff were rude and treated us badly. We left that afternoon and checked into another hotel. The worst hotel in Gangtok.

MG Marg is within walking distance, and the food was good. Our room and bathroom were clean and in good condition. The staff were friendly and courteous, and we had a wonderful stay at Nourpem Residency.

The food wasn't bad, but it was overpriced. The staff were all rude, and the manager acted like a prime minister. Worst hotel, don't go here.
