I chose this place because the price was very reasonable for a one-night stop before continuing by train to Shimla the next day. The room was basic, but having a balcony made my stay. The railway station is only a short walk away.

Don't stay here if you're hoping to sleep. There's even a chance of finding a mouse in the bed, and the toilets are shared with the public.

The rooms were comfortable and affordable, with views of a large football ground on one side and Kalka Railway Station on the other. Pinjore Gardens is nearby, and the staff were very nice.

The pictures show how bad this is. It's one of the worst hotels in Kalka and doesn't deserve even one star. There are good, cheap hotels along the same street, so go somewhere else.

The chairs were dirty and in really poor shape. We barely slept because there were mosquitoes and lizards in both the room and the bathroom.
