Al Noor Palace Business Class Hotel

The staff were supportive, and the place felt safe. I spent five nights here with a friend on a business trip, and everything went smoothly. The room was clean and comfortable, with an attached bathroom, TV, and AC that all worked properly. It’s a business hotel in Triplicane, Chennai, and the location made it easy to get to all the places we needed. I’d recommend it to anyone visiting Chennai for work or travel.

The room was dirty, there were no towels, and the bed was so uncomfortable that I barely rested. I’d booked breakfast too, but nobody mentioned it at check-in or called in the morning. This was my ninth visit, and the experience was far worse than before. I arrived at 1:30 PM and was told, rudely, that I couldn’t check in until 2:00 PM, even after asking politely. I’d requested a higher floor but got the first floor, while other guests were assigned rooms on the second and third. The receptionist and staff were unhelpful throughout. Very disappointing, and I wouldn’t recommend staying here.

A cramped room with a bad bed, rusty nails, faulty switches, poor AC, no hot water, and no towels. Breakfast wasn’t ready on time either. This stay felt like a waste of money, and I wouldn’t bring a family here. Don’t rely on the five-star reviews, either, since they apparently give gift boxes for good reviews.

After spending the day around Chennai and Marina Beach, I was exhausted and needed a decent night’s sleep. The bed was so uncomfortable that I could hardly sleep, and even a basic bunk bed would have been better. I’m also puzzled that this place calls itself a three-star hotel. The facilities didn’t come close to that standard. I chose it because of the many positive reviews online, but after staying here, I felt misled and wondered whether some of them were paid. The experience was poor and not worth the price. I’m sharing this so other travelers can be cautious before booking.
