The people at Rose Dell Inn made my two-day Gangtok trip feel like I was staying with family. They were warm and ready to help whenever I ran into a problem. I’d happily recommend staying here if you’re heading to Gangtok.

Writing this on 27 January 2026, I want to warn other guests about my stay. The room photos and hotel details didn’t match what I found, and the place felt extremely dirty. The staff were awful, and I found the claims in the positive reviews hard to trust. Don’t be swayed by the low price or the nearby MG Marg location. They wouldn’t let us bring in outside food and pressured us to eat at the hotel instead. I’ve attached photos as evidence. This was the worst hotel experience I’ve had, and I’m sharing this honestly to help others.

The room felt cramped with three people, but the view made up for it. The location was convenient and the service was top-notch. Rosedell inn gangtok is one I’d recommend.

The rooms and other facilities were extremely dirty, and the owner and staff behaved terribly. Please stay away from this third-rate hotel.

The fresh food was excellent, and so were the manager, helper, and cook. The views were excellent too. I’ll definitely stay here again when I come back to Gangtok.
