The main drawback is getting around. It's far from the main town, and big vehicles are restricted on the road, so expect to spend an average of ₹400 per trip to reach town. The rooms were clean and the service and food were good. Meals are prepared on request. Also, the lift is switched off after 8-8.30pm.

We spent six days here, and the whole team took good care of us. The owners have leased the property and are trying their hand at entrepreneurship, which impressed me. It's a little away from prime MG Marg, but the place is spacious all around, the rooms are well maintained, and the balcony view is picturesque. A lovely spot for a leisure trip, and I'd highly recommend it.

The biggest problems were the lack of hot water in the bathrooms and the complete absence of food. There's no canteen, and no nearby restaurant either. I complained several times about the hot water, but nothing was done. Staff service was also poor, they were unavailable or seemed not to care. This was a complete nightmare of a stay. I also believe many of the five-star Google reviews may be fake and written by staff to mislead customers. Please don't fall for the hype. Save your money and peace of mind and stay elsewhere.

The food was so good, and the cooking staff were caring and understanding. They made me feel like family looking after me away from home. The one thing I missed was traditional Sikkim food, which isn't available here, so you'll have to explore Gangtok for that. Apart from that, everything was great, from the room and service to the serving staff.

The food and the staff who served and cooked it were the best parts for me. Their thoughtful, family-like care made us feel looked after away from home. The room and service were great too. It was a good experience and value for money.
