The homemade food was tasty, mild rather than too spicy, and very reasonably priced. You need to order it ahead. It's a little way from MG road, but shared and private taxis are easy to get. The staff were welcoming and polite, and the window view was mesmerizing. A nice, affordable hotel.

We had a quiet stay, and it's a good choice for families. The hotel is about 4 km from M G Marg, with taxis available for 300-400 Rs, so I'd choose this place over staying around M G Marg. Our room was spacious, the bathroom was very clean, and the view of the Himalaya was lovely. Staff were very good, room service was prompt, breakfast was good, and dinner was tasty. When we asked for curd, they provided some especially for us. Must stay here when you go to Gangtok.

The room was quite large, around 20x20 ft, and the washroom was just as big and clean. Staff were good and the owner was awesome. The food may not meet your expectations, though anyone can manage it. A nice place to stay if you want a break from the city's busy rush.

Rituraj, you're special, keep it up. This is a very cost-effective stay with a king-size room, lovely views outside, and excellent support staff. It's also a great spot for a morning jog, away from the horns and sirens of urban Gangtok. Just know there are no shops or places to eat within walking distance, so you'll depend on the hotel. They can arrange cabs around Gangtok and nearby areas. The kitchen service could improve, and there was no newspaper.

It's a neat budget hotel tied up with OYO, with clean, large, comfortable rooms and friendly staff. Some rooms look out over a great valley. The drawback is how far it is from the usual settlements, with no facilities nearby.
