We had a really enjoyable holiday and liked the service. The receptionist was especially helpful, and all the staff behaved well and looked after us. The rooms were good too. Many people visit this hotel for the rooms and service.

The extra charges were brought up suddenly, without my consent or any clear justification, and that felt dishonest and unethical. From the start, the stay was terrible. Our room was dirty, in very poor condition, and badly maintained. It was nothing like the photos or the description when we booked. The staff and owner were arrogant and uncooperative. They miscommunicated facts instead of fixing problems, and their conduct was unprofessional. Their attitude made it seem like they didn't care about guests. This place showed no basic hospitality, transparency, or respect for customers. I wouldn't book here if comfort and money matter to you.

During my Gangtok trip, I stayed at Royal Heritage Hotel and loved the experience. The view and room were breathtaking, and the food was delicious. The staff were friendly and easy to approach. I had a superb stay.
