Chaitanya Resort

This was the worst stay we've had, especially with family. There was no power or water at night, and no staff were available. Calls went unanswered from 10.00 pm until 11.00 am, while the owner's number was switched off. After 11.00, the responses were pathetic. They pushed for advance payment, which made us feel they knew what they were doing. Basic items like soap, towels, and bedsheets weren't provided, so bring your own if you still choose to book.

The place was dirty and didn't respect our requirements. The water was very dirty, there was no drinking water in the rooms, and ants were in the room. The towels and sofa cover had old dirt marks, and the owner expected guests to compromise even on clean water. The electric water heater gave guests shocks. They didn't even offer complimentary tea. If you visit Ganpati pule, I'd suggest booking directly at one of the many hotels with better hygiene, at reasonable prices.

If you want to stay quietly and spend your days in peace, this is a good option. Food can be ordered. The property sits in nature, with independent bungalows laid out nicely. We had problems with the bathroom geysers and window locks, but they were fixed later. Ganpatipule and aare ware beaches are far away, so you'll need to drive there. Traffic along the way is a bottleneck.

The peaceful setting is a plus, and the rooms are good. One room had a refrigerator, and the air-conditioned rooms were reasonably priced. It's somewhat far from the Ganesh temple, which is why I took off one star.
