Frequent power cuts made the stay uncomfortable and frustrating, and there was no dependable backup. Reception had no proper staff available, so even basic help was missing. The food and management were poor, with no proper planning or timely service. My experience was nothing like the online reviews, many of which seem misleading or fake. The resort needs serious improvement in its staff, food, and basic facilities. It felt like a waste of time and money, and I wouldn’t recommend staying here unless major changes are made.

The setting by the Ganga looked peaceful at first, but the problems soon took over. There were mosquitoes and ants all over the property, and the tall wild grass made it look neglected. The fridge and TV in our room didn’t work, and there was no room phone to call for service. The buffet was poor quality and tasteless, and with no place nearby to get even basic snacks, we were stuck. The photos also showed something completely different from what we got. I’m still here as I write this, unfortunately booked for 2 nights, and the electricity has been out for half an hour. For the price, it’s not worth it. It feels like a dingy, average hotel, and I’m shocked by all the 4/5 star reviews. They don’t feel real.

The location made a great first impression, but the rooms and service quickly turned this into a terrible stay. We booked several rooms, and every one had multiple problems. The ceiling wall looked like it was about to fall. There were lizards and mosquitoes in the room, no water in the shower or commode, and no reception calling facility. When we asked for a personal number, the owner and manager didn’t answer. The owner later gave us his number but ignored our calls when we needed service. They were reusing Bisleri water bottles, and the washrooms had no soap dispenser, like a public washroom. The AC was fixed at 20 degrees and couldn’t be adjusted. The washroom door couldn’t be locked from the outside, which made the room feel uncomfortable throughout the stay. The extra mattress was extremely thin and tight. Food and service were the worst parts, especially the buffet. Worst resort and worst food and service I’ve ever had. Please save yourself and your family from this kind of place, or your holiday could become a nightmare.

The person at the reception counter was rude and had no manners. I went there in person to ask about the resort, but got a very unprofessional response. He said they don’t entertain locals or take bookings from guests who show up in person. I’m from the same village, though I don’t live there.
