The Fern Sardar Sarovar Resort, Series by Marriott

After a day sightseeing around the Statue of Unity, the calm atmosphere made this a relaxing place to return to. Rooms were spacious, clean, and well maintained, and the sofa-cum-bed was especially comfortable and handy for families with kids. Housekeeping was excellent throughout. The staff were polite, quick to respond, and supportive, and the property felt safe and family-friendly. There’s adequate parking for a car or tempo traveller. Food was good, with a decent selection at breakfast and other meals. A comfortable, reliable hotel near Ekta Nagar, especially for families.

We came for dinner and my niece’s birthday. A singer performed 80s songs while we ate, which made for a nice evening. We chose the buffet, with a big vegetarian spread of Punjabi, Chinese, and chaat dishes, plus plenty of breads including roti, fulka, and naan. Dessert included chocolate ice cream, two kinds of small cubicle pastry, and a dry fruit halwa that was heavy on dry fruits and ghee and less sweet. It was a nice experience. The place is opposite Ekta Nagar railway station. I’d thought an overnight stay there was slightly overpriced, though that wasn’t the purpose of our visit.

The warm welcome and smiles from the team made our stay memorable. A few housekeeping issues came up, but they were resolved promptly. Big thanks to the full staff and management, especially Mr Amit, Madam Ritika, Mr Vishal, and your Manager. We’ll definitely recommend the hotel.

It’s a great base for visiting the Statue of Unity and nearby attractions, and we had a wonderful stay with our family. Our room was clean and comfortable, the staff were polite and helpful, and the food was delicious. Excellent hospitality, highly recommended for families visiting Kevadia.
