Hotel Satyam International

The rooms were extremely dirty and the hotel was in very poor condition. Service was bad, and there were lots of animals around the hotel. It felt like an OYO type of room. Definitely not recommended.

The breakfast was supposed to be included in the Rs 5200 I paid for two AC rooms, already a very high rate for this hotel. But there wasn't any breakfast available. When I said I'd paid makemytrip for it, they brought four puri and curry from a nearby street vendor. makemytrip charged Rs 250 per person, while what we got was worth Rs 40. The sheets and pillow covers were stained and torn. I asked to have them changed, but nobody did anything. The manager and staff were idiots and had no sense of service. Rowdy people, stay away. Pathetic.

I paid 7,500/- for two rooms for one day, including early check-in, and the service was still very poor. Getting a set-top box for the TV took two requests and two hours. There was no intercom, so for anything I had to go down to reception. Hot water wasn't available in the bathroom. When I asked, they said they had just one rod and another customer was using it, so I'd have to wait until it was free. Even ordering two cups of tea meant waiting half an hour to an hour. I won't return or recommend this hotel.

The room was in good shape, and the AC and other electrical fittings all worked. It was quiet, away from city noise, but still within walking distance of the railway station. I stayed for one day and found the staff courteous. The lady manager was especially cooperative and gave extraordinary service. I'd happily visit again if I need to.
