Gemoor Khar

Tulsi was such a great host. She helped us figure out our next stop and was super helpful finding places for us to stay. Someone had pointed us here, and we were glad they did. The rooms were great, and after all that travel the simple, delicious food felt just like home cooking.

We stayed in the Super Deluxe room, which was spacious, comfortable, and beautifully kept. The mountain views from the windows were stunning, and waking up to snow-covered peaks and crisp air felt magical. It had all the comfort we wanted alongside a rustic Himalayan feel. The quiet setting made it easy to unwind, away from crowds and noise, and the property is thoughtfully designed to fit its surroundings. Gemoor Khar Banjara was one of the most memorable stays on our Himachal trip. The dramatic mountains and peaceful Lahaul scenery were lovely. Staff were warm, courteous, attentive, and always happy to help, which made us feel at home. The fresh, delicious, comforting meals were another highlight after long travel days. We truly loved staying here and would happily come back for the serene mountain views, comfortable rooms, kind hospitality, and an authentic Lahaul experience.

Ms. Tulsi, the volunteer, brought a lot of warmth and fun to our stay. She was great at bringing people together, from little children to the most reserved biker. She arranged village walks, stargazing by the river, and monastery visits, which made the visit feel personal and memorable. Gehmur Khar is a lovely place. I had expected remote, high-altitude Jispa to be rugged and difficult, but the comforts and service here made our stay surprisingly easy. Heated blankets and delicious himachali sidhus on the menu were nice touches. Our time at Banjara was about more than a warm bed: the scenic surroundings, grand manor house, and gracious hosts all made it a warm experience.

Mr. Mohan knows a lot about the mountains and has plenty of experience. I really enjoyed talking with him. The staff were warm, friendly, and sincere, and the food was simple, fresh, and tasty. My room was big and clean with a great view, with a river across the road and snow-covered mountains beyond. A great place to stay in Jispa, and a very good experience.
