After an 18-19 hour journey, I arrived for the two-night room-only stay I'd booked through IRCTC for ₹1641, paid in advance, and they wouldn't let me check in. Staff said they had no booking confirmation from IRCTC or MMT, even though I showed them the booking and payment details with Hotel ID Confirmation clearly stated. Customer support executives from IRCTC and MMT tried calling the manager 3-4 times, but he didn't answer. Staff wanted to SCAM me and asked for ₹1200 for one day. I refused, left, and found a room at another *** hotel for ₹1800 for two days, where the staff were really helpful. The hotel (Prithvi Palace) has very low ratings on booking apps and sites. BEWARE VISITORS.

The room stayed spotless and comfortable, thanks to housekeeping keeping up the cleanliness each day. The front desk team were just as helpful, greeting me warmly and making check-in easy. They were happy to help with directions, local suggestions, and other requests. I felt well looked after throughout my stay and would gladly return.

The rooms were reasonably neat, but my experience with the night receptionist was very poor. He was rude, and when I asked about checking in early, he wanted 400 rupees per hour. I was also given a water bottle without an MRP for 30 rupees.

Tour bus passengers should find this a decent place to stay, and tour managers can get rooms at low rates. It's in Ghaziabad near Delhi and has good facilities.
