OYO The Prima Residency

One of the better places to stay in vasundhara. The rooms are nice, the washrooms are clean, and the staff are helpful and well behaved. They do close the gate before 9 p.m., though. I’d recommend staying here if you’re in vasundhara.

The location was the biggest problem. It cost me quite a bit to get there, and the hotel is tucked so far inside that I wondered whether the area was safe. Check-in was also a bit of a hassle. Still, my stay was happy overall. The room I got was new and clean, probably better than nearby hotels, though I can’t speak for the others. It was one of the cleanest OYO rooms I’ve had. I booked offline because I wanted a smooth transaction, and the hotel doesn’t accept OYO app prices anyway. I paid a reasonable amount, but it was 1.5x the price shown on the app, which makes OYO pricing seem pointless. I didn’t need room service, so I can’t comment on that. The food menu in the room seemed to be from a nearby Dabba they may have partnered with, but the prices were insanely high, so bring or order your own. The lock was loose and not proper, and should be made easier to use and suited to the room’s standard.

Don’t book here, and especially don’t pay in advance just because of an OYO discount. Once you arrive, the staff ask for more than the booking amount and won’t cancel the booking. If you try to cancel yourself, OYO deducts money from your deposit.

Don’t book this hotel. The staff behave very badly and ask for more money if you’ve booked through the OYO app. He kept telling me to cancel the booking and pay ₹1000 to check in, while saying that another room was never available.
