I spent 30 minutes wandering around because the hotel wasn’t using the OYO Townhouse name, and another name was on the property. Then check-in took 48 minutes. My booking was Rs.678/-, but they charged me Rs.1497/- when I arrived. The OYO team, customer service, and hotel partners were all extremely disappointing. I’m done using the app.

At least there was parking. The room was shabby, though, and I felt unsafe because the wiring seemed to be earthed throughout. I got a shock whenever I used the running tap water. The hotel appears under two different names, and after I booked through OYO, someone changed something in the app and the amount went up by Rs 500/-. I had to pay it. Then the receptionist took my phone, saying he needed to check the booking, checked me out straight away, and gave everything five stars on Oyo. When I asked why he was keeping my phone, he said he was checking the booking. These people seemed crooked.

I was completely dissatisfied. Mr.Karan and Miss. Shreya were at reception when I went to check in, and they tried to charge more than the amount shown by OYO. They seem to charge whatever they want, and the service was very poor. It felt like they were making a fool of customers.

I arrived for my booking and couldn’t find the hotel under that name. Reception told me it had new management and had been renamed, so I was left out on the road. This hotel feels like a fraud and doesn’t exist under the name I booked.
