We spent 5nights here with kids aged 3years and 5years and had no trouble at all. Whenever they got hungry, the hotel gave them hot milk and rice free of cost. The rooms, pool, breakfast, and property were all well maintained, and the staff were so polite and helpful. We’ve stayed in many 4/5 star places, but this one gave us the best service. Thanks, Acron, for making our holiday special.

We spent one night in a deluxe room at Acron Candolim Regina. For the price, I’d rate it 4.5/5, though it felt more like an upper-end 3-star than the advertised 4-star. The exterior has an old-world, rustic Goan/Portugese look, and the central area and pool were lovely places to sit and relax. Our room was spacious and the bed was large and comfortable, but the room itself felt dated. There were problems in the bathroom: water spilled from the shower/bathtub onto the floor and didn’t drain away, so we called housekeeping, who came promptly. The bathtub wouldn’t fill. It was late at night, so I didn’t contact housekeeping about that, but issues like these made the hotel feel below 4-star. Food was tasty, especially the north Indian vegetarian options, though the selection wasn’t huge. Staff were courteous and helpful. The beach is an 8-9 minute walk away, and small shops for snacks or water are within a minute. The kids’ area was minimal and didn’t seem well maintained.

There’s plenty within walking distance, and this felt like a family and kids friendly resort. The staff and management were helpful, the premises and pool were very clean, and the flower garden around the pool and passage was nice. Breakfast was excellent, and the food exceeded expectations. The drinks were reasonably priced. The rooms and bathroom are old, but spacious and still have some charm. The children’s play area wasn’t maintained, and the restaurant closes at 10.30 pm. During holiday season, it could stay open until 11.pm.

Breakfast was only okay, with decent options but nothing special, and room service was poor. I was there for 3 nights for a get-together, and this was the most horrible property I’ve ever stayed in. The room and decor were run down. Water barely came through the sink, shower, and faucet. We could hear noise from the next room, and I slept badly. The mattress and pillow covers were stained and dirty. I’d call this a 1-star hotel. We were two friends sharing a room, and when I asked reception for a second set of keys, the response was rude: they said they don’t give a second key. I’ve never had that kind of behavior before. The property is for poor strugglers and beggars, not people wanting luxury. There is parking for 8-10 cars. Mr. Ambrish, I called your front desk team twice to say I wanted to speak with the duty manager, but they never passed the message on. You should ask them why. I’ve been to more than 36 countries and am a member of ITC, TAJ, HYATT, MARRIOTT, LEELA, etc. If I have a concern, I contact reception right away, but did it really take 3 days for you to get back to us? Even after I told housekeeping, fresh napkins and towels weren’t put in the room. I don’t repeatedly chase people, and I shouldn’t have to. Maybe your international guests like the service you provide, as you mentioned, but does that change the reality?
