Foxoso Vega, Colva, Goa

We traveled as a group during a visit to South Goa and paid the hotel in advance. We also paid extra for an additional bed or mattress in one room, but there wasn't enough space to put it there. We raised this right away with management and reception and asked for the extra charge back. The manager and management promised to refund it within 2-3 days, but we still haven't received anything, and the hotel isn't answering our calls. The room cleaning service was satisfactory, but the rest of the experience wasn't good. The hotel had no lunch or dinner service, and the breakfast was poor and too small. When we asked for enough food, kitchen staff kept telling us to wait, but the requested amount never arrived.

The management's response was slow and indifferent, and they gave vague excuses instead of taking responsibility. I was charged too much for extra mattresses, and despite repeated follow-ups, the hotel never refunded the extra payment. Staff showed little urgency or concern. Although restaurant facilities were advertised, there was no working restaurant, which was a major problem for guests who depended on in-house dining. This was a frustrating stay and poor customer service. After paying good money, I wouldn't expect billing problems and unresponsive support, and I'd advise travelers to avoid the hotel unless they're prepared for that.

The food was good, but the room was in very poor shape, with dust even on the bed and a truly dirty bathroom. I told reception about it. The rooms and bathrooms need better cleaning and maintenance.

Breakfast was served across the road at another hotel, rather than at this property. The stated hours were 8:00 AM to 10:00 AM, but it wasn't available before 9:30 AM, then everything closed at 10:00 sharp even when guests were there. That felt misleading and unfair. I booked through Agoda and stayed three days at ₹3200 per day, but it felt like a complete waste of money. The Wi-Fi didn't work at all, and neither did the room landline. Staff wouldn't listen to complaints, management was careless and unresponsive, and repeated complaints brought no solution. The facilities weren't worth the price. The stay left me with frustration, inconvenience, and a loss. I strongly wouldn't recommend this hotel to anyone.
