Nimmu House

Waking up to birdsong among the coconut trees and being able to stroll to a clean, uncrowded beach in minutes was lovely. Kudle and Om Beach are only 300-500 m away, and much less crowded than Goa. We stayed three nights at Nimmu House, a peaceful, beautifully restored heritage home. The rooms, gardens, and common areas were spotless every day. Staff were warm, the food was fresh and delicious, and the seafood thali is worth trying. It’s just a five-minute walk to Kudle Beach and the sacred Mahabaleshwar Temple, a great quiet retreat beside Gokarna’s best beaches.

The sea view from the property was the best part of our stay with friends and family in Gokarna. We had booked standard rooms but were upgraded to spacious, comfortable deluxe rooms. Staff were friendly and helpful throughout, and both check-in and check-out went smoothly. We had a fantastic experience at Nimmu Guest House and would highly recommend it.

There’s a restaurant on-site, several room types, and the prices are affordable. We stayed for three days and found the rooms comfortable and clean, with daily housekeeping and hot water available around the clock. Gokarna Main Beach is 200 meters away, and Mahabaleshwar Temple is within walking distance at 500 meters. A good option for families and bachelors.

The owner is kind and helpful, and the rooms are very clean and well maintained for a reasonable rate. It’s hardly a 2-3 minute walk to the temples and Gokarna main beach. The cafeteria food was only OK and overpriced, and its service could be better. Still, I highly recommend Nimmu.
