Gopinatham Mystery Trails by Jungle Lodges

The thatched hut was basic, but it gave the stay a proper jungle feel. Food was great, and the coracle ride with Nataraj and jungle safari were fun, with lots of birds and a few animals along the way. The morning bird walk could've been better. A good spot for a one-day getaway, and the experience as a whole was amazing.

We got to see plenty of wildlife and plants on our two safaris, nature walk, and coracle trip on the lake, including birds, elephants, Indian gaurs, and wild boars. The staff knew a lot about what we saw and shared all the details. What really made this family trip special was Swami and his whole team, so polite, professional, and welcoming. We also loved the delicious veg and non veg dishes. We had an amazing time at JLR Gopinatham.

The safari was especially engaging if you like birds. We saw lots of species, though among the larger wildlife we only came across gaurs and deer. Views of MM Hills from the dam catchment area behind the property were stunning. Hearing that nearby areas were once associated with Veerappan and his gang gave the visit a slightly thrilling edge. I loved the unusual tented dome, and the staff were warm, courteous, and friendly throughout. Meals were simple, homely, fresh, and satisfying, with a decent variety. The non-vegetarian choices were limited to chicken and eggs. It was one of the best jungle stays I've had, and a memorable, refreshing break in nature.

The peaceful, nature-surrounded setting made Gopinatham Mystery Trails resort a lovely place to unwind. Staff were friendly and attentive, and made sure we were comfortable during our stay. The food was quite good, especially the simple but tasty vegetarian options. We had a great experience, and I'd recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing nature getaway.
