The Raikwals Hotel and Resturant

The owner, Mr. Kanwal, was a gem, polite and very cooperative, and the service was excellent. Our room was very clean and had all the amenities, including 24x7 hot water. Room service was super fast, and the food was delicious. It’s one of the most beautiful, scenic hotels in Bhowali. We’ll definitely return for the wonderful hospitality.

The food and service were both bad, so I’d avoid this place. Staff weren’t available to prepare proper food: there was no lemon, the dal tarka came undercooked, and there was no pickle. Zero.

The rooms smelled, and the food was basic with terrible service. They charge like a 4 star hotel, but the staff, especially at reception, were very unprofessional and lacked basic courtesy. They didn’t know basic government rules and wouldn’t provide a GST bill. Whatever you do, don’t stay here.

I hated it. When we asked for onion, the manager said other restaurants had already provided it, then urged us to cancel the order and leave. The Sardar was rude, and the waiter asked, “What do you want?” I wanted to say “Tamiz.” We needed to eat, so we had to take a step back. The worst experience. The Sardar was wearing spectacles and carrying a khandir in pocket.
