The resort has lovely views of the Naina range, plus you can hear birds and other wildlife. There’s plenty of parking, and games indoors and out, with gear for cricket, badminton, and ludo. Our room was spotless, the staff were courteous and quick to help, and we really enjoyed the food and the calm atmosphere. One thing to plan for: the 2km stretch from Pangoot Market has uneven patches, so an SUV is a good idea if you’re driving.

Pangot is known for birdwatching, and I was delighted by the variety of beautiful birds I saw during my stay. The quiet surroundings, birdsong, and soothing feel made it easy to relax. At Minikins Resort, Pangot, I had a comfortable, well-kept room with a breathtaking mountain view from the window and balcony. I’d happily return and recommend it to anyone wanting to unwind in nature.

We arrived at Minikins Resort around 11:00 PM, but check-in went smoothly because we’d arranged it by phone and paid the advance beforehand. The host and staff were supportive and cooperative, and the fresh, satisfying breakfast was very good. The views are beautiful, it’s a nice place for birdwatching and time in nature, and most local attractions and essentials are nearby. The approach road is poorly maintained, though, so plan carefully, especially for a late night arrival or if you’re driving a low-clearance vehicle. If you’re okay with the road, it’s good value for a peaceful stay with warm service and lovely views.
