Hotel Park Regency

I left feeling sick and angry. The food was the most disgusting I've ever tasted, burnt or stale, and some of it smelled rotten. The drinks tasted like dirty tap water with chemicals in it, and even the plates looked unwashed. I'm never going back.

Dinner service was a mess. The staff seemed uninterested in taking our order, and after a long wait we finally got the food. Then almost all of them stood nearby staring at my female companion. She said it was hard to eat with everyone watching her. When I turned around, they looked away and made a comment about her dancing to a cheap song and becoming famous. I asked why they were staring at us, but they ignored me and laughed. At the front desk, a drunk man kept asking what I was doing with a girl. I ignored him because he was drunk, but the receptionist and other staff laughed too. From the reception staff to the restaurant staff, people were rude and made us uncomfortable. At check-in, they asked for documents. After I handed them over, they photocopied the wrong page. About an hour later they called, blamed me, and told me to bring the documents back or they would cancel my already-paid booking. I had many bad experiences at this hotel while with a female companion. I wouldn't recommend it to families or anyone staying with a female partner unless they change the old staff and their manners. They act like they own the place.

The ambience is pleasant and there's plenty of parking, and the location is prime, on Civil Lines Road beside Dominos. But the food quality and service aren't very good, and the washrooms were unclean. The hotel should pay attention to its service.

I loved the Chicken chilli, and the ambience was nice. The wash basin could use improvement, though. A full portion is too much for one person, so I wish they offered a half size too. If you're thinking of going, bring a group.
