The main large pool was closed, and at the smaller pool two or three people were drinking and behaving inappropriately in a shared area where families were present. I didn’t expect that at the resort. The room bill also wasn’t given to me when I left. I was busy and forgot to ask, but staff only handed me bills for lunch and a water bottle. They charge 50 for a ₹15 bottle of water, which is extremely expensive. I came to Mogli Resort during Holi after friends suggested it, and I live in Bangalore. I’d arrived with high expectations, but the experience didn’t meet them. The room was quite expensive: I arrived around 10:30 PM and checkout was 12:00 PM, so although I stayed less than 12 hours, I was charged ₹4,500. That felt unreasonable.

The food was good, and the serving staff were good too, but the property itself is nothing fancy and doesn’t seem worth 10k to 15k per night. The rooms are average, old and not clean enough, which made the place less comfortable to live in. Our room was so far from reception and the restaurant that it barely felt convenient, and there was no buggy or other ride to the room despite the high tariff. I went with my 5 months old daughter after asking about a two-day stay. They quoted a price, took 50% in advance, and collected the rest at check-in. On the first day the water stopped for about 1.30 hours. I called repeatedly and complained to reception, room service and the sales team, but nobody came to fix it. The next day, staff called us to check out. I was confused because I’d booked two days, but they said it was for one day and there had been a misunderstanding with the sales team. I was already frustrated with the service, so I checked out without discussing it further. At night, while walking around the pool with my baby, we saw people drinking alcohol out in the open, so I went back to my room. A one-litre water bottle costs Rs.50, and since there aren’t many other options nearby, you’re left buying it at that price. I wouldn’t recommend the stay. They seem confused and aren’t very good at giving customers a good experience.

The natural setting was the best part: lots of greenery, fresh air, and a peaceful, refreshing break from city life. The rooms were comfortable, clean, and thoughtfully designed. Staff were courteous and made sure everything went smoothly, and the food was tasty with a good variety. It was a memorable stay, and I’d recommend this place for a quiet holiday surrounded by nature.

Coming from Europe and travelling through India, I really appreciated a break from spicy Indian food. The staff made special dishes for us and served us at the table like a 5 star restaurant. They were very attentive, the food was delicious, and I highly recommend this resort.

We chose the all-inclusive package, with breakfast, lunch, high tea and dinner, and the food was amazing. There was an unexpected range of tasty cuisines for such a remote location. The property is well maintained and full of trees and different kinds of birds. It’s a 10 min walk from khatia gate, and they also offer pickup and drop to the gate. The staff were helpful and the service was good. I’d recommend it to family and friends. Rooms: 4/5 | Service: 5/5 | Location: 5/5
