The location was the only real plus, with Gorakhpur Station nearby and PVR Venus Mall within walking distance. My room was somewhat clean, but the rest of the stay was awful. I booked an AC room, yet the unit barely cooled and kept dripping water onto the bed because it was placed right above it. The window wouldn’t shut and had no grill, which felt unsafe. I asked to change rooms, but nobody acted on that or my complaints. The staff were rude and the service was horrible. I wouldn’t recommend this hotel.

I’m staying here now, and the service has been the worst I’ve experienced. The manager and staff have a terrible attitude. I’ve asked several times for a room change, but they just don’t care.

I’ve never stayed anywhere like this in Gorakhpur. It feels like they shouldn’t be in the hospitality business. I hope the owner sees this and improves how guests are properly looked after.

I stayed for about 20 days, and the place started to feel like home. Owner Sachin was very friendly and checked whether everything was alright. Receptionists Nitu and Aman were attentive with guests, and I wish them the best for the future. Golghar is a prime location, with food, dry cleaning, and other things all within walking distance. For this price, it’s a good value stay in Gorakhpur. 👍🏻 to the management.

A quiet little hotel right in the town centre, with clean rooms, A/C, and great staff. They can provide a C-form for foreigners too. Thanks so much, guys!
