I had told them in advance about checking in late and checking out late, and they agreed. Later they claimed I hadn't discussed it with them and charged the full amount for the extra hours. The staff were arrogant, and I wouldn't recommend arguing with them. I felt the place wasn't safe. Avoid this hotel and stay away.

The manager charged 80 for breakfast one day and asked for 100 the next for the same thing. When I questioned the higher price, he said, "Jo bola hai dena padega." I also objected when I got half a glass of milk at the full price. The manager then told his staff to add water right in front of me. Worst manager. Avoid this place, it doesn't feel safe, and don't get into an argument.

During the day it might be fine, but I wouldn't choose it at night. There were so many mosquitoes I couldn't sleep properly, and they didn't even have repellent like Goodnight or All Out. They need to sort this out.

Staff were friendly, and I paid 1300 rs for a room with no complimentary items. I stayed one night and found the experience better than average. Gorakhpur isn't a city where finding an easy, cheap hotel is simple. You have to work hard to find a stay you're satisfied with, so I was glad to come across this "guest house."

The manager had no proper backup for the nightly power cuts in summer. The property is very old, and every room had termites and cockroaches. There's no restaurant, and the location means you won't find anywhere to eat within walking distance.
