Hotel Gokul inn

We came to this restaurant with family during a trip, and the experience was horrifying. We had a diabetic patient with us and brought food from home for medical reasons. We politely explained and asked several times, even offering to pay extra seat or table charges, but the waiters, cook, and manager insulted us instead of cooperating. They forced us to leave. When we tried to defend ourselves and speak calmly, several staff members got aggressive and tried to attack us. A staff member named Pardeep and yogesh chaudhary hit at us with an iron rod. My uncle moved at the last second, or it could have become life-threatening. Around 10-15 people gathered and came toward us aggressively. The way they treated the women in our family, our mother, sister, and bhabhi, was especially shameful and disrespectful. We feared for our family’s safety. Local people stepped in to help, and without them things could have been worse. After all that, neither the staff nor the owner showed any guilt or humanity. It was traumatic for our whole family, not just a bad restaurant visit. Please avoid this place if you care about your family’s safety and dignity. No family should have to go through what we did.

Nothing was resolved until the matter reached the police, after which they had to apologize for their behavior. The staff were rude, disrespectful, and unprofessional. We explained our medical situation and offered to pay the full charges, but they argued instead of cooperating. This is not how a hotel or restaurant should treat people. Absolutely not recommended.

The staff were cooperative and well behaved, and the location is one of the best in Goverdhan, very close to Dan ghati Temple and Deeg adda. There’s an in-house restaurant, Gokul Delicacy, which I think is the best in Goverdhan town. The dishes are tasty and worth trying, especially the allo Gobhi. Rent ranges from 1200-4500 depending on the number of people. Must visit.

The staff spoke and behaved in an extremely disrespectful way. We’d come for parikrama, but after this awful experience our family was so upset we couldn’t even continue. It’s the worst restaurant I’ve ever visited, with unacceptable service and behavior. Not recommended at all. No one should go here.
