Hotel Golden Nest

I stayed here for an exam at a nearby college, and the only thing I really enjoyed was watching TV. The washrooms were in good condition, but the rooms weren't as nice as the OYO pictures suggest. They're just somewhere to stay for your purpose and head home the next day. Staff weren't very good either. The colony is green and beautiful, but it's almost on the outskirts. From Pari Chowk, a cab or auto is the way to get there, and the auto costs around 40 to 50 rs. Venice Mall is 3km - 4km away, looks very beautiful, and costs 40rs to reach by auto. We ordered a plate for 170rs, and the food was very tasty, with roti, chawal, panner ki sabzi, and daal. I had to leave at 7am, before breakfast starts at 8am, so I could only have bread and tea. The hotel is in Sigma 1 colony. Near Galgotia College, there are only 2 OYO hotels, and this is one of them.

It has a pleasant old Indian house feel, and the staff were warm and welcoming to everyone. The rooms are decent, well lit, and kept in good shape. A fun place to spend some time.

I was booking 5Rooms, and they actually shouted at me. The manager was horrible and didn't know how to speak to people. He literally said, 'jo karna hai kar lo'. They won't honor bookings made through Apps and will demand extra money. This is a disgusting property, and those 5-star reviews are fake, guys. It's unacceptable.

We paid OYO the full amount in advance, but at check-in the hotel demanded much more money and refused to hand over the room without it. They spoke very rudely and aggressively. We won't book any room from OYO again.
