The fresh mountain air and the sound of Drung Fall made our stay at Frozen Fall Resort feel especially refreshing. It was quiet and surrounded by nature, a lovely place to slow down. After the snowfall, everything was covered in white and the view was stunning. Our room was comfortable and clean, and the staff were warm and helpful. It’s a memorable place, and I’d love to come back.

The rooms were excellent and the location was good, but the service, staff, and food were awful. We had to keep reminding reception and the staff about things we needed, and they were extremely rude. Most of the dishes listed on the menu weren’t available, there was no tandoor, and the food was almost inedible. The “Frozen Fall” was more like a tiny stream. A terrible experience.

The rooms have a lovely traditional Kashmiri style, and the mountain views and peaceful setting are hard to beat. It feels like “heaven on earth,” and the staff were kind and helpful, often making an extra effort to see that we were comfortable. Food was delicious, though a bit expensive. In winter, the bathrooms can be very cold and the hot water may run out, so bring extra warm clothes for chilly mornings. FrozenFall Resort is right beside the famous Drung Waterfall, and it’s a great spot for nature lovers.

We were glad we chose this place, especially since there isn’t another cafe at that location. Including all the meals in our package turned out to be a great decision. The service was amazing, the staff were very helpful, and their hospitality was up to the mark. Check the weather before you go so you can make the most of the visit. It was all worth it. ❤️💫

We paid for a villa, but what we got wasn’t up to the mark. The management was very poor, and after I told Shafugta mam about the problems, all she said was, “mam this is kashmir, things go like this at times.” That didn’t explain the dirty rooms or bad dinner. The rooms weren’t properly cleaned, the geyser didn’t work, and the room heater had issues, so we were cold all night with no hot water. We had to move to another villa because of the heating problem. On our first night, the power kept cutting out every 5 to 10 mints. Before the trip, the manager had assured us the rooms were centrally heated, but nothing was working. Dinner was not good at all. Those issues had nothing to do with Kashmir’s weather. It was a pathetic experience and a total waste of money and time. If you’re thinking of booking, think twice. I’d suggest not booking here.
