John from the restaurant deserves a special mention. He was warm, attentive, and made sure we had a great meal. The rooms were well kept, too, and service throughout was excellent. Our stay was comfortable, smooth, and properly relaxing. Thanks to the whole team for a lovely visit. I’m looking forward to coming back.

I left Crowne Plaza Gurgugram around 2.30 pm upset, and we had no appetite after what happened. Even then, about 98 % of the restaurant chairs were vacant. I still don’t understand why we were told it was fully booked or why we were treated that way. I bought the hotel membership about 6 months ago after hotel staff contacted me. It cost around Rs. 29000 and included a booklet of complimentary buffet and stay vouchers. I’ve visited this hotel for over 10 years and also had a yearly gym membership there. On this visit, I came at 1.30 pm for lunch with a friend and presented one of the paid membership vouchers. The restaurant staff’s expression and behaviour changed. They said the restaurant was fully booked, although there wasn’t a single person inside. When I asked if that meant we couldn’t have lunch, they said they’d let us know and we couldn’t go in until then. I pointed out that the voucher was sold by the hotel and was paid for, not a free service. I asked for a senior person or the property manager. It was embarrassing in front of my friend. Nobody seemed answerable, and I felt that we were being treated differently because we had a voucher. After many requests and about 20 minutes, a senior person, Mr. Vivek, came. I explained what happened and asked how a supposedly full restaurant could have vacant seats. Mr. Vivek understood and apologized. He accepted that the restaurant was 98 % empty and said they couldn’t deny us or ask us to wait for food. The restaurant occupancy can also be checked on CCTV. He assured us he would take appropriate action and asked us to have lunch, but by then we didn’t feel like eating there. We handed the vouchers back to the staff. We’re respectable, socially active people and politicians in Haryana, and regular visitors to many 5 star places in gurugram. I never expected this kind of difference or partiality towards membership holders, especially when the hotel itself sold us the membership. The staff’s behaviour was unacceptable. Management should take strict note, train and supervise staff properly, and treat every visitor and membership holder respectfully. These are paid facilities, and everyone has self-respect.

Chef Saurabh’s preparation of the Rajasthani buffet was great, especially the excellent dal baati. I visited Crowne Plaza Gurgaon for the food festival and really enjoyed the delicious, authentic food. Uday served us politely and attentively, which made the meal even more enjoyable. A very satisfying visit, highly recommended.

The peaceful feel of the property made a real difference, and the food options were delicious. I also found the room spotless and spacious, with comfort clearly in mind. From arrival onward, the staff were welcoming and attentive. It’s a lovely mix of luxury and personal care, and I’d recommend it to anyone after a top-tier stay. I’ll definitely return.
